Sixth Annual Conference on Project-Based Learning
This conference provides opportunities for teachers to learn beginning
to advanced strategies for implementing project-based learning across
the curricula. A 1-day pre-Conference Institute provides a special
focus on integrating technology as a tool for enhancing curriculum
and increasing student achievement. This year's guest luncheon speaker
is Dr. Jane Goodall. Keynote speaker is Fritjof Capra, author of The
Tao of Physics, and most recently The Web of Life.

event draws women from all over the Bay Area. Enjoy a time of renewal
as you learn from the experts how to start that fitness program, manage
the symptoms. of PMS, or find the emotional courage to face life's
challenges. Featured speakers include, Tara Fields, PhD, the popular
psychotherapist and author of "Women and Change: Finding Your Courage,
Restoring Your Will," and Suzie Woodward Morris, CEO of Strategic
Imaging, the nationally-known Image Management Company, and author
of "Image: MS.Jekyll, Ms. Hyde or Doria Grey?"
The conference is sponsored by WomenKind. It will be held on Saturday,
February 28, 1998 at the San Francisco Hilton at the San Francisco
International Airport from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
