Women are severely underrepresented in the engineering profession.
Research shows that girls and young women lose interest in subjects and
the fields of study leading to engineering careers long before they enter
college.

How To Participate
You may join in any of the online activities throughout the day. To
make your participation in this event the most rewarding, one should:
The Forum will be open all day and you may submit questions at
any time during the day. They will be posted in our queu and submitted
twice per hour. Our mentors will log on at various points over the course
of the day to answer posted questions. You may send a question to a specific
mentor or a general question to the panel.
The Webchat is a live one hour event from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
PT / 11:00 a.m. - noon ET. This is a moderated chat and only appropriate
questions will be posted. Please be sure to read the profile of the featured
expert prior to the chat.
The Webcast is a live one hour event from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
PT / 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. ET. This is a live video stream with an interactive
chat room.
