video teleconferencing |
Two NASA experts will be online to discuss and answer questions
on web casting, video teleconferencing, and satellite broadcasts.
Andrea McCurdy and Karen Dodsen have been on the cutting edge of this
technology since it's inception. They have produced web casts from
a wide variety of remote locations such as, Kennedy Space Center and
even underwater at the National Marine Sanctuaries. Program guests
have included Film Maker James Cameron and former Astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

Satellite Teleconference from NASA HQ in Washington, DC streamed
over this site as a live interactive webcast featuring a panel of
high profile NASA women |
Department of Labor and NASA kickoff a collaborative initiative
to encourage young women to pursue and persist in math, science, engineering,
and hi-tech fields. A panel of five, high profile NASA women will
speak about their background, education, and careers. The satellite
teleconference will be broadcast to seven satellite centers where
young women will be watching; as well as broadcast on NASA TV and
streamed over the Internet on this site. Participants will have the
opportunity to submit questions to the panelists during the teleconference
via a live chat room. You must have RealPlayer downloaded to your
