1/6th Gravity Moon Walker Simulator

Observing Simulators
By Steven

On the day we went to space camp on our trip to Florida I was one of the kids that was not exactly feeling very good. So, I did not go on any of the main floor simulators there. The simulator that I thought was the coolest was the Zero-G wall simulator. As I watched other kids get into their harness and learn to move I thought to myself how hard it would be to push off and climb up and down without having your own weight to move. It looked like they had to learn to move all over again. Later in the day I started to feel better so I did go on the 4-G simulator. This spun you up to 4-Gs and made your cheeks get pushed back on your face and made you feel like you weighed tons and tons. Once I was feeling better, I started to wish that I could stay at space camp for the rest of our time in Florida.
