Five Degrees of Freedom

A Very Cool Chair
By Kaplan

At Space Camp I went on a chair that showed how you can move in space. It was called the Five Degrees of Freedom. You could move up and down, right to left and pitches, roll and yaw. When they first put me in the chair I was a little scared. After I was in the chair for less than a minute I was not scared anymore. Instead, I started to feel like I was in space. I liked going on this simulator. It was fun. I think I would like to be an astronaut someday. Hanging upside down feels very cool to me. Space camp was my favorite part of our five-day trip to Florida.
