1/6th Gravity Moon Walker Simulator

Climbing the Zero-G Ladder/Wall
By Eric

At my space camp adventure I climbed the Zero-Gravity ladder/wall. First I got into a huge harness. Then my guide told me to climb to the top of the truss structure that was part of this simulator. This simulator had a machine that balanced your weight so that you would weigh nothing. So, when I got to the top of the truss wall and my guide told me to wait there while she worked with the machine. Then she told me she was done. She told me to take my feet off of the truss. To my surprise, when I took my feet off I just stayed where I was floating in the air. Next my guide showed me how to move my arms and legs so I could go up and down the truss sections without using any body strength. I was just floating up and down. It was great.
