"I work for Boeing at Palmdale where we are giving the Space Shuttle Columbia a tune-up. Checking all the wiring, checking the vehicle for structure and installing all new instruments i.e. 'Glass Cockpit'.

Brittany is so excited to be here - I can't even start to tell you. She wants to be an Astronaut, wants to be one of the crew members who will colonize Mars. Her 7th Grade class is participating in the Mars Millennium Project almost completed. She is a member of both the Mars and Planetary Society - as you can tell proudly by wearing her T-shirt."
