In December we were invited to interview Commander Collins in a Shuttle cockpit simulator at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. During our discussions, she offered to attempt to answer some questions from our student constituents during her time on orbit if time permits.

We would like to invite participants in the Female Frontiers project to pose questions from which your Student Ambassadors will select the best. These will then be passed on to Eileen, and if a transmission from space becomes possible, of course, we will bring that to you! This is an exciting opportunity, and we want to be sure not to abuse the privilege. Therefore we would like any questions to be submitted only after you have:

• Read or watch the interview we had with Eileen
• Read about the mission
  As related by JSC
  As related by KSC
• Work together to select the very best possible question
  Eliminate trivial or already answered questions
  Consider questions that will be of broad general interest
  

The chat room is now open that will collect the questions to be reviewed by the Student Ambassadors. Be sure to identify yourself so that if your question is selected, Eileen may refer to you by name (individual, classroom or school).

You will not be able to see the any of the questions, including your own. Do not repost! Repeated questions will be eliminated and may also exclude any other questions from the same source. We want this to be a positive and rewarding experience and would ask your cooperation.
