As support engineer for Flight Crew Operations at NASA Johnson
Space Center, Lonnie Moffitt
who follows hardware development on the orbiter, keeping the astronaut

As Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL) dive specialist, David Hamilton, trains astronauts
in the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (a giant swimming pool) to do space
walks (extra-vehicular activities) and to manipulate robotics on
orbit.

Live from the Launch of STS-92, Space Team Online brings you video
programming to include the night time launch of STS-92 scheduled
for 7:17pm EDT. Programming will begin 1 hour before launch and
will provide you a view from the Press site of the excitement
surrounding this 100th Shuttle launch! Click on the photo at right

As a nutritionist, Janis Davis-Street
is part of a team whose job is determining the nutritional requirements
for space flight, that is, finding out what foods and nutrients
are important for the astronauts as they venture into space.
