Challenge: Design a Martian

Joel & Mrs. Pena's 2nd period


This life form on Mars can survive on decomposing the rust that comes off
of rocks on Mars. Its scientific name is placimina ocean chelimena, but
it is commonly known as gigameaba. It is unknown why they are called
gigameaba; as gig means large, and an ameba is a connection of stars. This
bacteria is very small and most definitely not a star. It barely supports
itself, and dies while regenerating. Many could live on the planet Mars,
but because of harsh living conditions, only an average of 168 have
survived at one time in the last 10 years. This form of life must live in
the northern or southern polar caps so that the rocks can rust. You must
also use an inferred microscope to see it as it is colder than the actual
soil. This concludes how this organism could live on Mars.
