Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Placerfera (combination of placozoa, nemertina, and rotifera)
Size: 0.04 to 1.0 mm.
Body systems: breathes and excretes through its soft flexible outer covering, sexual and asexual reproduction, travels in any direction by cilia movement, able to grind food with cilia around a pore openings. Flat, sedentary, lives in glacial mud found near polar ice caps at the leading edge where a combination of friction at surface and heat from bioluminescence melts a thin layer of water.
