OCTOBER'S FEATURED TEACHER: DARLENE BLACK
Welcome to the Highlights section of the Airspace Systems Education Cohort! Each
month we will feature one of our Airspace Systems Educators (ASEs) and highlight
the work they are doing with students and teachers all around the country, inspiring
the next generation, as only NASA can! This month we are proud to feature ASE
Darlene Black, 5th grade science teacher from Marlow, Oklahoma. Darlene is headed
to Tulsa this month to present to nearly 500 educators at the Oklahoma Education
Association Convention. She was also featured in the Marlow Review this summer. Click
here to read her account of her experience at Ames Research Center this July
as part of her training for ASEC! |
