Meet: Jennifer Harris Trosper
Project Systems Engineer,
Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Who I Am
I received a degree in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT and then
received a Master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University
of Southern California.
What I Do
Currently, I am the project systems engineer for the Mars Exploration
Rover (MER) mission, which is working on sending two rovers to Mars in
2003. As lead systems engineer, I am responsible for overseeing the design
and technical guidelines to help ensure success and minimize risk factors.
In my free time I am active in church and community activities, including
visits to Mexico to help people build houses. I also spent a year teaching
English and Bible study classes to students in the Ukraine.
