A Virtual Visit to Tel*Ed(Archived)

On Friday, November 14, NASA's Learning Technologies Channel will bring you, live, two special events from Tel*Ed '97, the International Society for Technology in Education's Sixth International Conference on Telecommunications and Multimedia in Education.


Schedule:

    7:45 - 8:45 am Pacific / 9:45 - 10:45 am Central
    Time Travels: Bringing History to Life in Television, Film, and New Media
    Hector Galan, President, Galan Productions, Inc.
    (Shared opening remarks with Mexico City and the General Session in Austin, Texas.)

    12:30 - 1:30 pm Pacific / 2:30 - 3:30 pm Central
    Take a Peek Into the Future on a Virtual Tour of the International Space Station
    (Archive Avaliable.) Astronaut Catherine Coleman will conduct the tour from the ISS model at Johnson Space Center in Houston. Stephanie Smith, Flint Wild, and Debbie Brown of NASA's Education Program will be your hosts at Tel-Ed in Austin.
