Welcome to a lecture from Dr. Scott Parazynski:

STS-86 Experiences Aboard the Russion Space Station Mir


    Friday, March 6:
  • 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Pacific (2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Eastern)
  • Attend an archived lecture by Dr. Scott Parazynski as he tells of his experiences during the STS-86 mission. This mission delivered Dr. David Wolfe to the Mir station and returned Dr. Michael Foale to Earth. During the mission, Scott and one of the cosmo noauts performed a space walk.

    Dr. Parazynski has been assigned to STS-95. The STS-95 mission, which includes Senator John Glenn, is scheduled for launch this October.

    Special Note: This lecture is being presented to the general Ames community. It has not been specifically prepared for delivery to a K-12 audience.
