You are on your way home. wish I was with you now(Mom). Was it as boring as you thought?

No it was not as boring as I thought because there were a-lot more anamals.

What did the robot do? Did it have wheels? Arms?
It had both and all it rilly moved slowly!

Homeward bound.

Met up with some the crew for breakfast at 6am. Great Sunrise. Talked to Peter Smith, one of the PIs(Principal Investigators) for several of the Mars probe camera systems. After a HUGE breakfast we headed home. The trip took seven hours - we flew! On the way we traversed several climate zones, Cool dry desert, - cool moist mountains, dry hot Central Valley, and finally rain as we arrived home in the SF Bay area.

During the trip I listened to the tape version of "Rocket Boys." I didn't think Ethan listened or heard a word of the story, but after the trip he pretty much understood everything about it.

I was tempted to make several side trips - Barstow to see the amature rocket test range and the innovative experimental airplane designs, but there was no time. - maybe some day........
