I am working with administrators and trying to plead my case. I am saying to join the NASA chats- you have to be registered and that there is someone in the chat room. Also I am the one typing and that I would shut the computer off if inappropriate messages came!

What's cool was when he put up the internet so that it showed up on the screen (like a movie screen) of the pathfinder webpages. In the last 15 minutes, we went up to the roof and saw the sun through the telescope.

But the stock answer is other teachers are not so careful, and they are afraid of older students using the school computers to chat.I am hoping they can configure my classrom computer so that it can bypass the proxy. I think as more and more school systems install proxie servers, getting to chat rooms is an issue you might have to address.
