NASA Quest Learning Technologies Channel
NASA Ames Research Center

Learning Technologies Channel is the Webcast arm of NASA Quest. Webcasts are live audio and/or video productions which are encoded and distributed to the Internet as "streaming media". The content for these events comes from many sources throughout NASA enabling students, educators and the interested public to interact directly with NASA Science and NASA Scientists. Programming can come from many other sources as well. Please take some time to visit the Schedule to experience some of these wonderful future and past events.

Our other exciting live events include Chats for which you can find a full schedule on the Common Events page for NASA Quest.

Prior to NASA Quest I held positions in R&D CAD/CAM Development with Xerox Corp., System Software with Apple Computer and Vendor Relations with General Electric. I have helped develop Educational and Graphics Software while at CDEX, Corp. and participated in Motion and Animation Video development with Xaos, Inc. and Disney.

Growing up on a large cattle ranch in California gave me a healthy respect and fascination for nature and the other species that inhabit this planet with us. I discovered painting animals early in life and have specialized in Wildlife Painting for the past 20 years. To understand my subjects, I began travelling to remote locations seeking first-hand photographic encounters. That interest has taken me from north of the Artic Circle to the Amazon Basin and eventually beneath the sea as a professional scuba diver. In the process of seeking these photographic encounters, I was also exposed to many wonderful and diverse human cultures. That exposure has made me especially excited to encounter people from all over the world who come to our events.

We hope that you enjoy and learn from your participation in the Live Events featured at NASA Quest and will visit LTC and NASA Quest often.
