  • On October 12, 1996, in celebration of NetDay 1996, we conducted the NetDay96 Virtual Conference. This conference was done in partnership with GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment). It gathered classroom content and technical experts from around the country and the world, as well as aired Internet-related videos.

  • Our first project occurred during the summer of 1996. We, with our partner, Passport to Knowledge, conducted the Mars Virtual Workshop. This virtual workshop allowed teachers and students around the world to participate in a day-long gathering held in Washington, D.C. The Washington conference had over 100 teachers from every state in the U.S. learning more about Mars and the Live From Mars project.
