The KAO Telescope Operator
Control of the telescope starts off with the Telescope Operator. When the KAO turns onto a data leg of the flight path, the Telesc ope Operator turns control of the telescope over to the Tracker Operator. The Telescope Operator is in charge of the safety, performance, and maintenance of the telescope. Thus the Telescope Operator is in charge of the vibration controls on th e telescope, and executes the controls for when the telescope is caged.
