QUESTION: What types of information would like to receive, that you didn't get from Galileo already? ANSWER from Robert Mitchell on Febraury 22, 1996: Almost all of the data we have received from Galileo since we arrived at Jupiter has been the data from the atmospheric probe. We are very anxious to acquire and return data gathered by the orbiter's instruments. This will include, among other things, pictures, infra-red images, and magnetospheric measurements. There are some such data on the tape recorder now that will be played back in June. Then on June 27 we will fly by one of the large moons of Jupiter, and will be returning data from all 11 of the orbiter instruments gathered from this encounter.
