There is not much we can work on today. I spent the day tying everything down so nothing can fall when the ship is rocking. We had to tie down so many things such as computers, supplies, and software etc. Around 12:30 we went to quarter deck to have muster which is when every one comes out and stand to greet the captain. Then split up into groups and the operations officer of that group tells us the status on what's happening or what's going to happen on the boat. At 2:00 we came out side to watch this little tugboat pull the Polar Star to sea. I was so amazed that something so small can pull something this big. I was able to call my mom and talk to her before we left. Seth, Damien, and I watched as we set off from land. We took a lot of pictures of downtown Seattle.
