I can't believe it by tomorrow we will be at sea up the coast of the Arctic. I never thought I would be taking an U.S. Coast Guard vessel all the way to Alaska.

I am just starting to get use to the ship and where to go. There are so many doors. I think I got lost just today about fifty times. One of the officers was kind enough to give us a tour of the boat. There are so many interesting things about the engineering of the Polar Star. Most of the day we were running around getting our workstations ready. One thing we had a real problem trouble shooting was pinging the wireless router so we can down load our email and send our web pages. I hope we can get everything done before we are under way. Today is our last day on land so tonight we decided to go out on the town of Seattle and have dinner. I really like working with the NASA team they are every interesting people.
