Dear Journal,

I woke up around nine this morning. We are now heading toward Barrow to pick up scientists, and a reporter looking for a story for the Discovery channel and a Coast Guard Seaman. Damien, Seth, and I set up the portable station. We were getting ready for a test with the wireless bridge. Damien and Seth went out on the LCVP with the wireless to see if they could transmit video and audio. Damien is very proficient with the system. The water didn't seem that rough but I guess it is different when you're in a small boat compared to a larger one like Polar Star. I guess the water was so rough that Damien got seasick and threw up over the side. So Mark had to walk Seth through the whole procedure. I felt so bad for the both of them. When the test was over we broke for lunch by that time Damien and Seth were back and I thought that Damien was going to blow chunks right there at the table it was even hard for him to look at food.

After lunch the rest of my day I worked on interviewing the PS crew. I think I would have to say that I had an interesting day
