Dear Journal, Today I woke up around ten O'clock. We are at Point Barrow. We are dropping off Sheba scientists and picking up the rest of the NASA team. We linked up the portable around twelve O'clock. We were going to test out the wireless router when Mark and Damien went ashore. We had a malfunction and one of the batteries shorted out one of our converter cables. Luckily the battery was okay. When Mark and Damien went to Barrow to pick up supplies, Seth and I stayed aboard manning the portable station. We down loaded information off the Internet for Mark. It was the first time setting up and tearing down the portable station without them there. I am glad it worked out okay. The rest of the day I packed and unpacked into my new room. This time they put me in the scientist room. I am glad too because when I work late I hated waking everyone up when they have to get up at six in the morning. Also I get a little more privacy.
