Dear Journal,

I woke up this morning around ten O'clock. It is still very cold. I would of never thought I would be able to see the sun out twenty-four hours every day.

We linked up with the portable around one-thirty. My main goal today is to get as many interviews of the crew as I can. I couldn't find that many people because it seems that everyone was busy. It must be very hard to work the hours that some of the crew has been working. I think it also must pay off with all of the experience and the opportunity the Coast Guard gives.
