On Saturday everyone had liberty to be out until 6 in the morning except Jamie and me because we were under 18. That didn't feel that great that I had to be back at 11 and everyone else could stay out until the morning. In the daytime I went to the city with Seth and ate Lunch at some Mexican restaurant. It was great food. Especially compared to the food that we have been eating onboard the Polar Star. I made it a rule to not eat on the ship while we were at land. I went to a racetrack with Jamie and some Coasties. I couldn't stand it because there were bugs all over the place. On the way walking out, I got on top of a horse and rode it bareback. Jamie then joined me after, and we rode around for a short while. It was a really friendly horse and never went crazy on me. Mark and Seth went to play pool and later went to the Mecca (The place to go in Kodiak if you are over 21). Mark, Seth and the rest of the Coasties went dancing until 4 in the morning. The sun set around midnight or so and I just went to sleep.
