Job description: Research on interaction on Ocean and Sea Ice and it's role in global climate. (SHEBA Project.)

Hobbies & Interests: Reading, listening to music (classical, opera), woodworking.

Doug has been with the University since 1985 and went there in 1977 to get his PHD. He decided the profession that he has today because he always liked the ocean when he was a kid.
