Protractor placement

Pete Zell places the protractor carefully between the rudder panels. The edges of the protractor fit exactly between the panels so that the protractor is pointing in the same direction as the rudder.

Aligning the rudder

After Pete accurately places the protractor, Rich Grimm aligns the fan part of the protractor with the center guy wire. The marks on the protractor will tell the angle of the rudder.
