Evans School

Hi,
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, we were forced to postpone our test flights to Friday.
We have 3 planes and we flew each one from a height of 57 inches. We stood on a large tire, which for us is a piece of playground equipment.

Results:
PLANE #1 glided for 2.01 sec., spiraled to ground, tail first. Distance - 1 foot

PLANE #2 glided for 3.03 sec., fell to ground, nose first. Distance - 1.5 feet.

PLANE #3 glided for 2.26 sec, fell to ground nose first. Distance - 5 feet, 1 inch (seemed to catch an updraft).

We are anxious to redesign and have flights that are more successful next time!! We will definitely change the wings!!!
