Branden Ogata

Hi everyone,

We made some of the modifications Tom Sanders suggested (thanks Tom) and ran our trials.

Wow, what a difference. We found out that one side of the wing had a twist in it, as we changed it to a polyhedral, so that caused some of its tendency to go left. We also trimmed it so it had a straighter glide path.

Most of the flights were about 60 feet in distance, but the surprise came when it found some lift and shot it up about 12 feet. From there it was "aloha means good-bye." It flew a little over 89 feet. It may have flown a little farther had it not clipped the roof of the school building!

We have submitted our redesigned glider plans and look forward to seeing everyone else's redesigns.
See ya!
Branden, Patricia and Keith
